Filter Disc Spacers
Spacers provide distance between filter discs to ensure proper flow and performance. Universal Filtration spacers are injection molded from 100% virgin, high-impact styrene or ABS to offer the strength and durability your OEM spin system requires. Spacers are available for a variety of hub styles in 1/4″ thick increments.
Filter Discs
Universal Filtration pioneered the replacement disc industry. We offer a replacement disc for virtually every system ever made.
Discs are injection molded from 100% virgin, high-impact styrene. They are then covered with multi-filament, polypropylene fabric – the industry standard for over 30 years.
Universal filter discs and spacers are quality replacements for OEM spin disc systems.
Filter Grids
Filter Grids represent the most popular residential diatomaceous earth (DE) filters currently available.
Universal Filtration offers replacement grids for all major OEMs, including American, Hayward, Pac-Fab, Sta-Rite, Premier, Atlas, Purex, Swimquip, Anthony, and Apollo.
Grids are injection molded from 100% virgin, high-impact styrene then covered with multi-filament, polypropylene fabric. Each grid has been engineered with subtle design improvements over OEM units.
Commercial Filter Discs & Accessories
Commercial Disc Systems are a popular style of diatomaceous earth (DE) filter.
They feature spin discs which have been converted to run in a vacuum (open pit) configuration. Multiple banks of discs are assembled on a manifold to provide the necessary filter area.
Universal Filtration carries a complete line of products for these installations.
Vacuum Filter Grids (Standard and Custom)
Vacuum Filter Grids represent the most popular commercial DE filters currently available.
Universal Filtration manufactures replacements for all common sizes with standard and custom outlet positions.
Grids are precision vacuum-formed from quality, polystyrene plastic. Covers are made using a custom woven, monofilament polypropylene featuring a Velcro® closure.
Grids may be purchased separately or with cover and gasket.
Separation Tank Bags
Separation tanks catch spent DE and debris during filter backwash cycles.
Universal Filtration manufactures replacement bags for a variety of OEM tanks. Our bags feature 1/4″ diameter, aluminum rings, heavy-duty polypropylene fabric and double-stitch construction. All our bags are available in either single or double ply.
Custom bags for obsolete tanks are also available.
(IMPORTANT: To prevent “blow-out” empty and clean the bag after each backwash cycle.)
Filter Sleeves & Accessories
Vertical Filter Elements are another popular style of DE filter – usually found in commercial applications. Universal Filtration manufactures replacement filter sleeves for current and obsolete systems. These items are made using quality polypropylene fabric to ensure durability and proper filter cycles. Custom sleeves can also be made to your specifications. Applicable gaskets, o-rings, and clamps are also available.
Vacuum Filter Covers & Accessories
Vacuum Filter Covers are a cost-effective way of maintaining your commercial DE systems. Universal Filtration manufactures replacement covers for all types of systems. Whether your filter is an off-the-shelf item, obsolete, or custom one-of-a-kind unit, there is a replacement cover for you.
